Inspired by the peshtemals used in Turkish hammams, our Mediterranean towels are a customer favorite for their thirsty, fast-drying weave. We’ve used that same soft, textural organic cotton to create a robe that’s wonderful to wrap up in after the bath and layers comfortably over pajamas, too. Styled to suit men or women, it has a relaxed fit with dropped shoulders, patch pockets, a shawl collar and self-belt. This robe is not pre-shrunk, so it will seem large right out of the box; we recommend washing it before the first use for a true-to-size fit.

Care
We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softeners. GOTS prohibits chlorine bleach in textile processing, so we use hydrogen peroxide for our whites. Non-chlorine bleaches are best since chlorine can turn cottons yellow and weaken the fiber. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. If you can air-dry your towels, do. It brings the outside in and saves energy. Machine drying is best at a low temperature
