Care
We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softeners. GOTS prohibits chlorine bleach in textile processing, so we use hydrogen peroxide for our whites. Non-chlorine bleaches are best since chlorine can turn cottons yellow and weaken the fiber. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. If you can air-dry your towels, do. It brings the outside in and saves energy. Machine drying is best at a low temperature

These are great hand towels. I use them in the kitchen because they are very strong, and they come in colors that perfectly compliment Coyuchi's Mojave line of linen dish towels. They're not as cuddly as the air weight towels - I prefer those in the bathroom. But they are serious, strong "working" towels and I love the colors.

My first reaction was: this is huge. It looked like a bath sheet for toddlers. But it fits my hand towel bar perfectly and looks great. It’s a lot heavier and more absorbent than the Target generic brand towel it replaced. Washed and dried well without shrinking awkwardly. Glad I tried it.

These towels are really lush and soft. They are quite large - I would consider them more a small bath towel then a hand towel. One of these could make 2 normal sized hand towels, so I’m not sure they will fit as well in the bathroom, but they are very nice towels and the colors are beautiful.
