In Turkey, where bathing has been raised to an art, khadi is the traditional choice for toweling. Lightweight and textural, the weave absorbs well, dries quickly and feels great against the skin. Our khadi towels are loomed from soft organic cotton in yarn-dyed stripes and edged in hand-knotted fringe.
Cotton is 100% organic, and sourced and woven in Turkey.
Care
We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softeners. GOTS prohibits chlorine bleach in textile processing, so we use hydrogen peroxide for our whites. Non-chlorine bleaches are best since chlorine can turn cottons yellow and weaken the fiber. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. If you can air-dry your towels, do. It brings the outside in and saves energy. Machine drying is best at a low temperature

Lightweight, absorbent, do not need to waste energy with putting them in a dryer. Took off one star because the guest towel (since there is no hand towel) could be a few inches longer and wider. No more terry towels for me. They are also nicely designed!

Purchased the bath towel and the guest towel. They looked smaller and measured smaller when they arrived. Thought about returning them. Washed them instead, in cold, no dryer and oddly enough, the GREW. They achieved the given measurements on the regular website. The towel saves on dryer use as it dries quickly on its' own. It is absorbent. Hating thick towels, I was glad to find this. You will think you ordered a dish towel; but, it's a good one!
