Care
We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softeners. GOTS prohibits chlorine bleach in textile processing, so we use hydrogen peroxide for our whites. Non-chlorine bleaches are best since chlorine can turn cottons yellow and weaken the fiber. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. If you can air-dry your towels, do. It brings the outside in and saves energy. Machine drying is best at a low temperature — trust us, everything still dries. Drying towels at high temperatures makes them feel hard and lose their soft plush. Place a set of our wool dryer balls inside the dryer to naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time. Do not use fabric softeners. For the softest towels, tumble dry low and remove promptly.

This year we discovered and purchased several sets of the Cloud Loom Organic towels and feel so pampered.
When I gave our 13 year old Yorkie her weekly bath I grabbed the Cloud washcloth to bathe her, then set a Cloud towel down for her to stand on. Then another Cloud towel to cover her whole body and gently buff her down before blow drying her hair.
Her hair dried faster with the towel. Was easy and fun to give her a "SPA" experience. But, when we finished, she lavished me with endless puppy kisses!!! Hidi does not like a bath...or didn't!!!! Thanks Coyuchi, for making the best towels we have ever found in our 53 years of marriage!

The color of the towel set shown in the photograph is not the color I received, so I need to return the set.
I had previously expressed concerns that the names of colors in 2nd Home Renewed do not correspond to those on the regular Coyuchi website (from which I also order), which creates confusion.
"Light Blue" in particular is the name given by 2nd Home Renewed to various different colors.
